Sing the Story: "The Snowy Day"
December 8, 2012
Join us as we explore the dramatic content of the award-winning story "The Snowy Day", written by Ezra Jack Keats. We will use the illustrations and words of the story to create sounds, using our voices and bodies through movement, acting, and song. Workshop is hosted by mezzo-soprano Sara Bielanski for children ages 6-10.

Sing the Story Workshops are designed to use spontaneous music making as a form of communication: to create a sense of being heard, and a sense of listening. Through participation, children and pre-teens become stronger musicians by means of improvisation: to encourage concentration, enhance practice, and build confidence in performance situations.
