Musician and health advocate Janet Horvath will demonstrate injury prevention strategies she has outlined in her book Playing (Less) Hurt – An Injury Prevention Guide for Musicians. Techniques include stretches and other solutions that can be used both onstage and off, as well as practice guidelines, ergonomic solutions, instrument modifications, and helpful equipment and resources (splints, straps, orthotics, chairs).
