Join The River Charles Ensemble, Harvard's newest conductor-less chamber orchestra, for their debut performance on Friday, Nov.16th, 7pm at Memorial Church in Harvard Yard. Formed in the spring of 2012, the River Charles Ensemble is a community of student musicians who apply chamber music techniques directly to orchestral performance. The River Charles Ensemble celebrates a working model of collaborative leadership, education and development, and high quality performances of orchestral repertoire. This debut performance features works by Mozart, Sibelius, and Copland.
