Musical Offering will present a Christmas concert featuring French baroque music for voices and instruments. The program will feature distinctive and delicious pieces by Charpentier, Couperin, and de Lalande coupled with familiar and favorite noels and carols.

Musical Offering is an exciting new chamber music ensemble with roots in the Boston area. Individual members of the group have extended their reach, studying and performing in Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Québec, Spain, and the United Kingdom at major festivals including Boston Early Music Festival, Bruges Musica Antiqua Festival, Montréal Baroque Festival, and Utrecht Festival Oude Muziek. Musical Offering’s second season 2012-2013 focuses on the vibrant repertoire of the French baroque.
