    12-22-12 is DAY ONE of the new era. Greater Boston joins worldwide celebrations of the emergent “Global Culture of Peace” (

    The Boston Hub – – is marking DAY ONE of this once-in-an-era shift on December 22, with 9 hours of celebratory events in two locations, Cambridge College, 1000 Mass. Ave., 10a-4p; and historic Arlington Town Hall, 730 Mass. Ave., 7-10p.

    Both venues will have revolving exhibitors, performances and presenters, plus Artist Linda DeHart’s Flags of One Family (, drumming, dancing, gongs and singing, to welcome in the new paradigm. Organizations such as the Foundation for New Directions (,,, Heart Mind Integration Healing, and Sandra Daitch Laughter Yoga Leader ( will show what’s working now – how we already “Live Peace into Being” ( info).

    CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE highlights children’s activities, artisans and food vendors (by donation); ARLINGTON TOWN HALL’s gateway celebration also includes with yogis; Annawon Weedon ( annawon_weeden.html), Mashpee Wampanoag (“People of the First Light”); Sacred Circle Dance; True Story; and breakout rooms to talk with exhibitors and presenters (By donation: $10-20, more if you can, less if you can’t).     Afternoon in Cambridge is by free will donation; evening in Arlington, by suggested donation - $10-20, more if you can, less if you can’t.
