Monday Dec 10 7- 9 and Tuesday Dec 11 6-8 2012

Auditioning for:

Entire Cast:  five men and five women, ages 12 years old and older. Be prepared to sing 16 bars of music preferably but not necessarily from the show.  Please wear clothes you can move in.  A keyboard player is also needed, and some staff positions are available.

Synopsis:

An adaption of the musical, in a modern-day song-and-dance recreation of the Gospel of St. Matthew. Structured as a series of parables, which are then interspersed with a variety of modern music set primarily to lyrics from traditional hymns, with the passion of Christ briefly portrayed near the end of the performance. Godspell’s message of love, acceptance, and tolerance transcends religion and is relevant to people of all beliefs.
