    Lexington Symphony’s Concert in the Round

    Meet and mingle with professional musicians and gain a new perspective on the orchestra, which will be situated in the middle of Cary Hall for this informal concert in the round. The program features favorite selections by individual sections of the orchestra (strings, woodwinds, and brass) and a performance of Vaughan Williams’s “The Lark Ascending” by 16-year-old Lexington violinist Yuki Beppu.     Meet and mingle with professional musicians and gain a new perspective on the orchestra, which will be situated in the middle of Cary Hall for this informal concert in the round. The program features favorite selections by individual sections of the orchestra (strings, woodwinds, and brass) and a performance of Vaughan Williams’s “The Lark Ascending” by 16-year-old Lexington violinist Yuki Beppu. Audience members can change seats at each break between pieces, and can even sit right in the middle of the orchestra! Pre-concert Q&A at 6 pm with Music Director Jonathan McPhee and orchestra musicians.

    Parking:

    From Route I-95/128: Take the Route 4/225 exit (Exit 31A) toward Lexington and proceed several miles. You will pass the town green and the center shops. Cary Hall is just beyond the post office and Town Hall on the left, at the top of the circular drive.

    From Boston: Take Route 2 West to the Waltham Street, Lexington exit and follow Waltham Street approximately 2 miles until it ends in the center of Lexington. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Cary Hall is just beyond the post office and Town Hall on the left, at the top of the circular drive.
