    Lexington Symphony’s Concert in the Round

    Meet and mingle with professional musicians and gain a new perspective on the orchestra, which will be situated in the middle of Cary Hall for this informal concert in the round.     Meet and mingle with professional musicians and gain a new perspective on the orchestra, which will be situated in the middle of Cary Hall for this informal concert in the round. The program features favorite selections by individual sections of the orchestra (strings, woodwinds, and brass) and a performance of Vaughan Williams’s “The Lark Ascending” by 16-year-old Lexington violinist Yuki Beppu. Audience members can change seats at each break between pieces, and can even sit right in the middle of the orchestra! Pre-concert Q&A at 6 pm with Music Director Jonathan McPhee and orchestra musicians.
