MUSIC
This concert includes the famous deploration on the death of Ockeghem by Josquin, and will include Tallis’s magnificent settings of the Lamentations of Jeremiah for men’s voices. We will also highlight different approaches to text interpretation with three settings of When David Heard that Absalom was Slain, and will conclude with the monumental 40-part motet Spem in alium by Tallis.
