"In The Time of Gods," the 2012 and 9th album by beloved singer-songwriter Dar Williams, features songs about the Greek gods and how those epic stories shape our own personal histories. It’s some of the richest music and most evocative writing of Williams’s career, comparable to Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, but with a few acidic and at times hilarious twists.
