This exhibition will highlight the work of Shirl Fink and Jim Wright. Shirl Fink returns to Wheelock after having had her first-ever exhibit in the Towne Art Gallery in the mid-1970’s. She will be showing a series of digital images based on still-life configurations that are her latest work in a long studio career that has transitioned in processes from fiber techniques, mixed media and painting (www.shirlfink.com). Jim Wright will be showing sculptures that are informed by his background in figure painting and portraiture. He uses his keen ability to construct in a variety of media to make works that also speak of architecture, adding to his personal narrative (studiowithoutwalls.org).
