Concord Art Association is pleased to present MEMBERS JURIED I: PAINTING AND SCULPTURE competition and exhibit.

From January 13–February 10, 2013, Concord Art Association will present its annual competition and exhibit, Members Juried 1: Painting and Sculpture, a showcase of some of the finest work in painting and sculpture in the region. Each year, the Association receives over 400 entries by member artists and it is up to the juror to make the selections.

This year's juror is George Nick, a renowned Concord-based artist and professor emeritus, Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA. Mr. Nick’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Hirschhorn Museum and Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington DC, among others. Mr. Nick’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Hirschhorn Museum and Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington DC, among others.

The opening reception for the exhibit is Sunday, January 13, 2-4:00pm. At 3pm, the Association will award $1,000 in prizes including the Jean Koch prize.
