CONCORD ART ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES WINTER/SPRING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING
From figure drawing to journaling, the Concord Art Association, located at 37 Lexington Road, Concord, MA, offers a wide range of art classes and workshops beginning in January and running through May 2013. New courses added to its roster include:
•How to Prepare Digital Submissions for Exhibitions and the Web
•Monotypes and Collagraphs Without a Press
•Drawing and Painting Birds
Other classes and workshops - from beginner to master-level - include painting with acrylics, watercolor, pastels and oil; drawing and mixed media, as well as blogging and other artist survival skills.
The Concord Art Association works with talented artists that are gifted teachers as well. This term,Elizabeth DaCosta Ahern, Adria Arch, Kara Bigda, Matt Brown, Margaret Bruno, Joy Dai Buell, Helen Byers, Shelly Eager, Lucia deLeiris, Paul George, Marjorie Glick, Marla Greenfield, Cynthia Maurice, Dean Nimmer, Barbara O’Neil, Emily Passman, Maris Platais, Jill Pottle, Nan Rumpf, Caleb Stone, Barry Van Duesen and Martha Wakefield are among the artists who will be teaching.
