Boston Musica Viva: 20th Annual Family Concert

Experience time-honored and timely tales told through live music and dance as Boston Musica Viva and special guests the Northeast Youth Ballet and Steve Aveson of New England Cable News celebrate 20 years of creating new music for listeners of all ages. In Samuel Headrick’s world-premiere ballet The New Kid, a student responds bravely to bullies at her new school. The team brings back its acclaimed production of Ma Goose, a playful reimagining of Mother Goose nursery rhymes by Bernard Hoffer, composer for the popular cartoon series ThunderCats.

    Recommended for ages 4+.
