    Burns Supper at The Haven

    Presented by The Haven

    January 25 - January 28, 2013

    Burns Supper at The Haven

The Haven, Boston's only Scottish establishment, is proud to celebrate this legacy of Scotland's favorite Bard, Robert Burns. A great night is to be had at this unique occasion. The traditions of a Burn's Supper: three courses of award winning Scottish cuisine, a welcome cocktail, the piping in of the Haggis, traditional Scottish dancing from Boston Highlanders dance troupe, First grade Piper, Burns songs performed by Kirsten Cairns, over 20 Scottish craft beers available, - all under one roof at The Haven in Jamaica Plain. Since opening it's doors in 2010 The Haven, in Jamaica Plain, has been a focal point for all things Scottish in Boston. Everything from a Scottish film series, to Scottish music sessions, Scottish Sausage night to swinging fireballs at New Year (in honor of the Stonehaven tradition)! Nothing rivals the shear scale of a Burns Supper though. Firmly embedded on the Scottish holiday calendar, the evening is a mix of food, drink, dance, song and poetry all under one roof. The sort of night Robert Burns himself would have approved of!
