The Cambridge Children’s Chorus, the newest division of Boston City Singers, will give the first annual Cambridge Winter Stars Concert. The concert, under the instruction of Program Director Wendy Silverberg, will feature performances by our two Cambridge programs of over 60 children ages 4-11. Three of Boston City Singers’ other groups will join these young singers: the Jamaica Plain Kodály class, AP Harmony (an a cappella group for young people ages 15-18), and the World Rhythm Ensemble. The general public is invited to join us in celebrating the inspiring voices at our Cambridge Children’s Chorus’ debut performance! The concert is free with a suggested donation at the door, and we will have a raffle for gifts from local shops as well as a bake sale. The money raised will support the organization’s scholarship fund to ensure that we continue our mission to never turn away a child for lack of funds.
