    MIT Affiliated Artist: Yukiko Sekino, piano

     Yukiko Sekino, piano, Affiliated Artist, instructor in the MIT Emerson program. Beethoven, Sonata in F minor, Op. 2 No. 1; Selected Etudes, by David Rakowski; and Mussorgsky, Pictures at an Exhibition. 4pm, Killian Hall. Free.

    Yukiko Sekino is the winner of the 2011 Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Competition, the 2010 S&R Washington Award, the 2006 International Russian Music Piano Competition Gold Medal, and recipient of the Jackson Prize at Tanglewood Music Center, among others. A graduate of Harvard University and the Juilliard School, she holds a doctoral degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
