An internationally recognized organ solo artist, Douglas Major has toured throughout the North America, Europe and the Far East. From 1974 through the spring of 2002, he was Organist and Choirmaster of the Washington National Cathedral. He now lives in Salem, Mass., working as a composer of music for organ, synthesizer, choirs, and chamber ensembles, and also serves as Music Director of St. Michael’s Church in Marblehead.
