Albright Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition featuring Boston-area artist John Lobosco. The exhibit will run from February 7 through March 30. Everyone is welcome to visit with John at an Opening Reception on Thursday, February 7, from 6-8 pm. John will also give an artist talk on Saturday, March 2, at 2:00 pm. The exhibit features human-sized geometric paintings, small geometric paintings in oil and wax, digital prints and one-of-a-kind silkscreen prints. Important ideas in the subconscious development of this work are the play of symmetry/asymmetry and pacing, as meter in music, creating a visual journey. Repetitive geometry and perfectly calibrated color create a visual sense of rhythm and sound. Albright Art is located at 32 Main Street in the center of Concord, MA. As usual, free parking is available directly behind the gallery. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday 12-5 pm, and also by appointment.
