    NEC brass students perform with their BSO teachers. Founded by NEC brass and percussion chair Frank Epstein, Brass Bash puts the spotlight on current and former Boston Symphony Orchestra members who teach at NEC, along with their students. This afternoon's masterclass will be led by trombonist/composer Michael Davis (in photo), an outstanding soloist and composer. Davis has toured and recorded with a diverse range of artists, including the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Branford Marsalis, Sarah Vaughan and Bob Mintzer. He has released nine solo CDs, authored 12 books and appeared on over 500 CDs and motion picture soundtracks. He is the founder, creator and president of Hip-Bone Music, Inc.
