Displaying phenomenal skills at the keyboard, Sergei Rachmaninoff became a touring virtuoso only after immigrating to the United States in 1917. Whether playing his own compositions or those of other composers, his skills as interpreter, stylist and poet are evidenced in over 350 acoustical and electronic recordings. Other repertoire includes magnificent symphonies, stunning religious music and scores of delightful songs.
