    Shakespearience: All the World's a Stage - Gr. 3-5

    Learn all about Shakespeare’s world with All the World’s a Stage! Short, varied scenes give students the opportunity to “try-on” different Shakespearian characters in both comedy and drama. Students will explore such conventions as: the plays-within-plays from Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream; the players’ relationships with the Elizabethan groundlings; the girls-disguised-as-boys scene from The...

    Learn all about Shakespeare’s world with All the World’s a Stage! Short, varied scenes give students the opportunity to “try-on” different Shakespearian characters in both comedy and drama. Students will explore such conventions as: the plays-within-plays from Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream; the players’ relationships with the Elizabethan groundlings; the girls-disguised-as-boys scene from The Merchant of Venice; and of course the “All the world’s a stage” speech from As You Like It. All the World’s a Stage culminates with a performance for family and friends.

    Tuition: $615 (Early Bird $590, postmarked by March 21)
