Photo Nights Boston Hosts an Evening of Mingling and Art Appreciation
February 8, 2013
Photo Nights Boston, in collaboration with the Robert Klein Gallery and Ars Libri, is pleased to host a cocktail reception on Friday, February 8 at Ars Libri in Boston. In conjunction with the Bruce Davidson: Witness exhibit, attendees will get to meet executive board members of Photo Nights Boston, and discuss the critical role of photography in enhancing our daily lives.
Photo Nights Boston’s Executive Director, Katie Noble, will provide information about the non-profit’s upcoming events, including a major public photo festival in October, where Photo Nights Boston will project large-scale images on Boston’s iconic buildings and large outdoor screens. A representative from the Robert Klein Gallery will speak briefly about the Bruce Davidson show and fine art photography.
Bruce Davidson: Witness, an exhibition of modern and vintage prints by one of the twentieth century’s most influential photographers, will provide an exceptional platform for this gathering. A world renowned photographer, Bruce Davidson’s documentary work has inspired generations of photographers to pick up the camera and document the world around them. Photo Nights Boston hopes to provide the same inspiration and encouragement to the Boston community – to document their experiences through photography and project themselves.
The event will be held at Ars Libri on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Attendees can register at http://pnbrkg.eventbrite.com/#. For those interested in live tweeting from the event, use the #pnbrkg hashtag.
