The Suzuki School of Newton offers free trial classes for its Suzuki Prep program for children ages 2-4 and an adult caregiver. This is a fun way to share time with your child: sing, move to music, do pre-instrumental Suzuki activities, and hear live instrument demonstrations from the SSN faculty. What a great way to have quality time together, learn what Suzuki music lessons are all about and find out why the Suzuki philosophy works! Do activities that prepare your child for Suzuki instrumental study and help choose an instrument for your child. Learn all about the essence of successful instrument lessons and home practicing by grounding the parent with enough tools in the Suzuki philosophy of learning, child psychology, music pedagogy as well as incentives to prepare the Suzuki family for musical instrument study.

There are 15 45-minute sessions each semester. Tuition is $342 for each adult caregiver plus child, siblings receive a $50 discount. There is an annual registration fee of $45. Classes are limited to 6 participants, and SSN reserves the right to cancel a class due to underenrollment.
