Brookline Music School presents Mountain Laurel – Appalachian Music from the North and South, part of the Faculty Artist Series. Lorraine and Bennett Hammond will perform songs from their most recent release, 'The Opal Ring', on the Snowy Egret label. The Hammonds are skilled entertainers, and this event will feature a lively assortment of traditional American instruments and songs. Enjoy five-string banjo, Appalachian dulcimer, Celtic harp, acoustic guitar, mandolin, and a vast repertoire of traditional and contemporary songs, tunes & ballads.
