Presented by Winchester Unitarian Society
March 8, 2013
Winchester Unitarian Society presents “Music for a March Evening, with Notorious.” If you haven't heard them yet, it won't take you four beats to realize that this is no ordinary folk band. Hailed as “sparkling” and “exhilarating,” Notorious musicians Eden MacAdam-Somer (fiddle/vocals) and Larry Unger (guitar/banjo) present a thrilling musical experience in genres that span many continents. At home in the worlds of both classical and popular music, MacAdam-Somer is one of the most exciting and versatile young violinists and singers performing today. Declared “guitar genius” by Sing Out Magazine, Unger is one of the most sought-after rhythm players in the country. His original waltzes and fiddle tunes have been played and recorded by musicians around the world.
