Funeral Suits/ Mals Totem

Funeral Suits is a four-piece alternative band from Ireland consisting of Brian James, Mik McKeogh, Greg McCarthy, and Dar Grant. The music they make is expansive without being overblown, heavy without being menacing, and all the more thrilling for its restraint. A shared love for epic, distorted guitars, blistering harmonious pop, art rock, and electronica has lead the band to spending the best part of two years holed up in a disused office space in the depths of North County Dublin. Throughout writing and rehearsing they ventured out to play as special guests for Franz Ferdinand, Passion Pit, the Maccabees, and Local Natives.
Funeral Suits have recorded their debut album Lily of the Valley with acclaimed producer Stephen Street (Blur, the Smiths), which is due for release on Model Citizen records on June 1 in Ireland and June 4 everywhere else. Their recent single "All Those Friendly People" has nearly reached two million views on YouTube with its stunning video. Meanwhile over in America, "Colour Fade" is currently one of the most added tracks on the vast and influential U.S. college radio network.
Mals Totem is a rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. In 2012, they have been featured on WZLX’s year in favorites playlist, as well as being featured by WFNX.
