Dominic Florio/Vince Cannady/Hana
March 14, 2013
Three Berklee students will grace the stage for a soulful night of original compositions. This special show will feature Dominic Florio, Vince Cannady, and Hana.
Chicago native Dominic Florio began songwriting at an early age and was an obvious born talent upon entering high school. By then, he was already performing professionally throughout the Chicago area. He began taking classical piano and voice lessons in high school and then received a full scholarship to attend a music conservatory in Chicago for jazz piano and vocal performance. For the next two years Florio was heavily involved in more than nine different ensembles, wrote his own music, had weekly gigs at several establishments in the Chicago area, and composed music for several of his school's plays. He is currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. Florio has just released his first solo album, entitled Reflections. At just 19, he is a skilled singer-songwriter with songs that span several genres from soul to pop to hip-hop.
