Homeschool: Acting: Process and Performances
Presented by Watertown Children's Theatre at The Arsenal Center For The Arts
April 25-June 1, 2013
Students will learn how actors use scripts to inhabit a character and tell a story through the exploration of objectives, sub-text, action and more. These skills will be developed with theatre exercises, group improvisations, and scene study. Theatrical concepts such as stage direction, blocking, performance energy, and focus will be introduced. The class will conclude with a final performance for family and friends.
