    The Wellesley College Shakespeare Society Presents....THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, directed by Rachel Cherny '13 The Wellesley College Shakespeare Society, founded in 1877, is Wellesley College's historically all-female Shakespeare performance troupe. We perform on our own stage in the Shakespeare Society house, modeled after Anne Hathaway's cottage, on campus. All productions are student-performed, student-directed, and student-constructed. Recent productions include: Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Cymbeline, As You Like It, Othello, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, and our Fall 2012 production of Henry IV pt. 1.
