    Ferry’s "Bewilderment: New and Selected Poems and Translations" received the 2012 National Book Award. In addition to his publishing many books, he has received, among other honors, the John Simon Guggenheim and Ingram Merrill Fellowships, the Library of Congress’s Rebekah Johnson Bobbitt National Prize for Poetry, the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize, and the Ruth B. Lilly Prize for lifetime achievement from the Poetry...

    Ferry’s "Bewilderment: New and Selected Poems and Translations" received the 2012 National Book Award. In addition to his publishing many books, he has received, among other honors, the John Simon Guggenheim and Ingram Merrill Fellowships, the Library of Congress’s Rebekah Johnson Bobbitt National Prize for Poetry, the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize, and the Ruth B. Lilly Prize for lifetime achievement from the Poetry Foundation. He is Sophie Chantal Hart Professor Emeritus of English at Wellesley College and is a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Suffolk University. Reading with him will be Marcia Karp, whose publications include The Times Literary Supplement, Ploughshares, Harvard Review, Literary Imagination, The Guardian, and Partisan Review. Her work is included in these anthologies: Penguin Books’ "Petrarch in English" and – alongside David Ferry – "Catullus in English", "Joining Music with Reason: 34 Poets, British and American, Oxford 2004-2009", and "The Word Exchange: Anglo-Saxon Poems in Translation". She writes literary criticism for The Arts Fuse website. Books will be available for purchase and autographing. Light refreshments will be provided.
