 OnStage Dance Company finds a home in Somerville
Grand opening week includes $5 class for all

(Somerville) – The dreams of two young entrepreneurs—Jennifer Kuhnberg and Kelly Dwyer—will be realized April 1 when the nonprofit dance company they started in 2010 opens the doors to its first studio. OnStage Dance Company will be located at 276 Broadway in Somerville.

The Company raised more than $10,000 is just six weeks as part of its Find A Home Fundraising Campaign in December 2012.

“We weren’t sure we could do it, but we were committed to finding a space where our dancers could not only rehearse but also bring dance to the community,” says Kuhnberg. “We are thrilled to have a home!”

The studio will provide practice space as the Company enters into its fifth season and rental space available to local dance instructors and fitness trainers. The Company will also host dance and fitness classes that are open to the public.

OnStage Dance Company will celebrate the Grand Opening with an Open House on Monday, April 1, 5-9 p.m. The studio will hold $5 dance and fitness classes for the public Tuesday-Friday night that week from 6-8 p.m including Zumba, Yoga, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap and more.
