Celebrate the success of works that dare to break character in our final concert of the season, “Role-Play.” In Sebastian Currier’s virtuosic Vocalissimus, lauded guest soprano Zorana Sadiq embodies 18 unique perspectives on one Wallace Stevens poem. Peter Child pioneers a new partnership between flute and percussion in a one-of-a-kind duo. We pay tribute to the late Elliott Carter with the Boston premiere of his recent Double Trio, an exploration of the softer side of brass instruments. British composer Judith Weir, whose breadth of musical innovation spans genres and the globe, concentrates her theatrical style into a world premiere chamber work commissioned by BMV.
