    Live tour of Blues, Early rock and Jazz

    As part of the Wellesley Weston Lifetime Learning (WWLL) music series Tom Doran, instructor in History of Jazz and Rock and Roll classes at WWLL, will perform as a member of the band Soulmachine. He will present an annotated tour of Blues, Early rock and Jazz. His band, Soulmachine, will present live versions of songs by innovators such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Louis Jordan, Chuck Berry, James Brown, and jazz artists Horace SIlver and Kenny Burrell. Come out and enjoy this free show that will be both entertaining and instructive. The performance will be on May 6 at 12:45-1:45 at the Wellesley Unitarian church 309 Washington St Wellesley, MA 02481 SoulMachine plays Classic Soul, Funk, Rock and Roll, and Blues The core of the band is Ed Williams Guitar and Vocals and Tom Doran Bass, Vocals. SoulMachine will perform as a 3 piece band, with a drummer added.
