The seventh annual Great Burlesque Exposition is a full weekend of the uniquely American art of burlesque. Whether you're a fan or a professional fan dancer, you'll find something to enjoy from shows to shopping to classes.

Our four showcases shine a spotlight on the best in burlesque, from brand-new talents to world-famous headliners. The Rhinestone Revue on Friday night features Burlesque Legends April March ("The First Lady of Burlesque") and Toni Elling ("The Duke's Delight"); modern starlets The Shanghai Pearl, Jo Weldon, and The Boston Babydolls; and last year's winners. Afterwards, you can game the night away at The Last Chance Speakeasy our Monte-Carlo cabaret come to life! The Main Event on Saturday night is a burlesque battle royale with dozens of competitors from around the globe. Our Sunday Night Showcase is the place where burlesque novices and sideshow performers strut their stuff.

During the day, you can shop our Vintage Fashion Fair, where dozens of vendors sell anything an aspiring showgirl or dapper gent need, from fashion and accessories to memorabilia. Take in our Costume Exhibit, curated by BettySioux Tailor and featuring outfits and attire that have been seen on stage the world over. Learn to bump, grind, and shimmy at our Drop-in Classes, presented by The Boston Academy of Burlesque Education. On Sunday at noon, we'll be presenting a screening of the new documentary Exotic World & The Burlesque Revival. Hear about the worlds of burlesque new and old from the people who have been there!
