Presented by Boston Area Guild of Puppetry at Parker Middle School

    April 13, 2013

    Sesame Street's Leslie Carrara-Rudolph

Join Sesame Street performer Leslie Carrara-Rudolph and her hilarious sock puppet side-kick Lolly Lardpop for 50 minutes of music, joy and laughter. This family-friendly cabaret is filled with original songs, stories and a cast of puppet characters including a Big Blue Lamb Fairy Godmother and “Granny Dot,” a wacky and wise senior citizen. The audience becomes part of the show by singing and improvising with Leslie and her characters.

Leslie Carrara-Rudolph is best known for playing “Abby Cadabby” on Sesame Street, a role for which she has received three Emmy nominations. Her stage credits include Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Search for Intelligent Life in the Universe. Leslie created and tours nationally with “Wake Up Your Weird!,” an interactive theater piece that offers creative tools for dealing with bullying and self-esteem issues.

"Leslie and Lolly Make Stuff Up!" will be produced at Parker Middle School, 45 Temple Street in Reading by the Boston Area Guild of Puppetry, a group dedicated to celebrating and advancing the art of puppetry.
