Héloïse Degrugillier, Emily O'brien, Owen Watkins, and Roy Sansom - The performers for the next 2nd Sunday Concert at the New School of Music will be a quartet of recorders comprised of some of Boston's finest players in a Bach program. The performance will include two keyboard works, which were transcribed by Friedrich vonHuene, a virtuosic Toccata in G, and the deeply felt prelude and fugue in E from Book Two of "The Well Tempered Clavier." Pieces from other composers include a prelude and fugue by Shostakovich, modeled after the Bach pieces, and a set of variations on "All in a Garden Green" by Dutch composer Jan Pieterzoon Sweelinck.
