    2013 Arts Medalist Ceremony: actor, writer, producer MATT DAMON

    Matt Damon '92 is the recipient of the 2013 Harvard Arts Medal, which will be awarded by Harvard University President Drew Gilpin Faust at a ceremony at Sanders Theatre. The event, presented by the Office for the Arts at Harvard's Learning From Performers program and the Board of Overseers of Harvard College, will include a discussion with Damon on his life and career moderated by fellow actor and Harvard alumnus John Lithgow '67. This is the official opening event for ARTS FIRST, Harvard University's annual festival showcasing student creativity in the arts.

    Admission Info:

    Admission is free but tickets are required, available in person at the Harvard Box Office at Holyoke Center, 1350 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, or by calling 617.496.2222. . Ticket distribution for Harvard affiliates (2 per person, with valid ID) begins Tuesday, April 16; ticket distribution for the public (2 per person) begins Thursday, April 18 pending availability. Some remaining tickets may be available at the door one hour prior to event start time.

    Sanders Theatre/Memorial Hall is located at 45 Quincy Street, between Cambridge and Kirkland Streets in Cambridge, a 5 minute walk from Harvard Square.
