    Bodies of Work

Moving West Dance Theatre will present “Bodies of Work” on April 26, 27, & 28 at the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest in Framingham celebrating 25 years of making dances by resident choreographers Lynne Johnson Grynkewicz, Artistic Director, and resident choreographer Anne Lemos Edgerton. Grynkewicz will premiere a dance and film collage entitled “Bodies of Work” that explores various aspects of work and movement in our lives with integrated videography and a diverse soundtrack. In addition Lynne is restaging “Momento”, a piece first premiered in 1999 for Moving West’s ‘Online 2000’ concert. Edgerton is premiering a collaboration based on a musical composition by Eric Satie entitled “Sports et Divertissement” (Sports and Games) which involves visual sketches and poetry. The piece will be accompanied by Boston Symphony Orchestra pianist Vytas Baksys and violinist Anne Hooper Webb. Anne is also restaging “PDQ Bach”, a comical interpretation of the Preludes and Fugues of J.S Bach. The piece will be accompanied by Vytas Baksys on the piano.
