The Harvard Allston Education Portal undergraduate mentors will host interactive science experiments and “make-and-take” projects for kids. Come make your own crystals, watch magnets float, and experience centripetal force! We will have take-home versions of experiments that can be done at home! This special event will take place on Tuesday, April 16th from 5:30-7 p.m., as part of the Cambridge Science Festival. The Cambridge Science Festival, the first of its kind in the United States, is a celebration showcasing the leading edge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in our region. A multifaceted, multicultural event, the Cambridge Science Festival makes science accessible, interactive and fun, highlighting the impact of STEM in all of our lives. Light refreshments will be served.
