In his newly-released book, Bunker Hill, Nathaniel Philbrick describes Boston as it was in 1775. The award-winning author visits the Old State House to discuss the Boston origins of the American Revolution and to sign copies of his new book.

To commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Old State House, the Bostonian Society invites everyone to join in a week of events and activities for all ages. Whether you’re a longtime Bostonian or a first-time visitor to the city, this building speaks to the steadfast human spirit in all of us.

The Bostonian Society stands with Governor Patrick and Mayor Menino in their efforts to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013. We will be collecting donations to the “One Fund Boston” throughout the week-long Old State House anniversary events.
