24th Annual Concord Museum Garden Tour
May 31 - June 1, 2013
The Museum’s Guild of Volunteers has organized this pre-eminent garden tour, an unequalled opportunity both to share in the delights of beautiful and historic private gardens in the Concord area and to support the Museum’s Education Programs which annually serve 7,000 students from all over Massachusetts and the nation.
Highlights of the tour include:
• a well-planned garden filled with native plants perched on the banks of the Sudbury River
• an important historic home whose garden encompasses sweeping views of Concord meadows
• a horticultural masterpiece—the result of two decades of dedicated gardening—set amidst eleven acres of woods, meadows, and a pond
• a garden rich with specimen plants and unexpected delights at every turn
