Please join us for a magical finale to the 2012-2013 season with a program of works by Haydn and Dvo?ák that are sure to inspire and help mark the arrival of spring. We will feature some of the Boston area's finest musicians, Haldan Martinson, a principal violinist of the Boston Symphony; Christina Day Martinson; Jenny Stirling; and founder Timothy Merton, along with English-based fortepianist Maggie Cole. Enjoy the delightful A major Piano Trio by Haydn, Dvo?ák's "Cypresses," a series of heartfelt movements for string quartet the composer arranged from songs he wrote as a young man in love, and his marvelous Piano Quintet No. 2 featuring an instrument like one Dvo?ák himself might have used, a Streicher fortepiano built in 1875. Don't miss this special program offered in lovely and intimate settings in both Cambridge and Concord.

Saturday, May 18, 8pm: Friends Meeting House, 5 Longfellow Park, Cambridge

Sunday, May 19, 7pm: First Parish in Concord, 20 Lexington Road, Concord

Maggie Cole: "…combines a marvelous technique with superb musical instincts and good taste…" --Boston Globe

Haldan Martinson: "… With a dusky tone that could turn tenderly sweet… he conveyed genuine fervor…and a welcome refinement throughout." --Los Angeles Times

Chistina Day Martinson: "…polished technique and elegant musicianship…" --Gramaphone
