Come join the celebration and experience a world-class performance from the Philippine Madrigal Singers right here in Boston!

As one of the world’s highly acclaimed and consistently awarded choirs, the group was recently invited to participate in the American Choral Director's Association Conference in Dallas, Texas (2013), America Cantat 7 in Bogota, Colombia and the World Symposium for Choral Music in Argentina (2011).

This May, they are coming to Boston as part of their 50th year celebration of sharing their music to different corners of the globe, so do yourself a favor and don’t miss out! Save the dates and save yourself a seat HERE. (www.madzinboston.com)! It’s very easy!

Did you know that in 2009, the MADZ were named as the UNESCO Artist for Peace for their extensive work towards promoting peace, cultural diversity, and understanding through music? They’ve also collaborated with other world-class choirs such as the Swingle Singers, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Coro Unibersidad de Mendoza, MIT, Yale School of Music, Calvin College, and more.

Currently under the direction of Mark Anthony Carpio, the ensemble continues to perform a wide repertoire of various styles and forms: Renaissance and Classical music, Filipino and International folksongs, contemporary and Avant-garde music, Opera and even popular music. In keeping with the madrigal idiom, the choir’s unique set up often involves performing while seated in a semi-circle, without a conductor. You name it, and they can sing it!
