    Shades of Death and Alleluia

    This concert depicts the ardent rhythms of life, from coupling through birth to death, and features sacred and secular music scored for viols and voices. Music by Aleotti, Strozzi, Leonarda, Bishop and Cozzolani, and Ruth Lomon’ s Songs from her "Requiem." The program represents a collaboration among three Brandeis University Women's Studies Research Center Scholars: Laury Gutierrez, La Donna Musicale's Music Director; Jane Ring Frank, Conductor; and Ruth Lomon, Composer.

    Also at this concert, a sneak preview of the fusion Latin-Baroque ensemble RUMBARROCO, with music from Spain, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

    Parking is limited, but available spots can usually be found along the residential streets near the church. A parking permit is not required on Sundays. There are two accessible (or disability) parking spaces on Garden Street in front of the church. Remember that use of these spaces requires a disability plate or placard.
