Venus and Mars: Tales of Love and War Told Through Bellydance

Johara and Snake Dance Theater return to the Regent presenting their 11th production since 2001... for an evening of Theatrical Middle Eastern, fantasy, and fusion- bellydance - to help empower women in Uganda.

Armed with silks, swords, staffs, feathers and fire, Snake Dance Theater Company, along with the professional dancers from around New England, explore the themes of love and war.

Proceeds from the event will go to support Empowered Voices and their mission to empower women in Uganda’s Mubende district through creation and distribution of fair-trade products and community-driven programs. The event includes a silent auction and raffle.
