Rachel returns to BEMF after her 2011 critically acclaimed performance with her period instrument ensemble Trio Settecento. Rachel and Paul Cienniwa recently performed the complete Bach sonatas on Chicago’s WFMT radio.

Although she is primarily know for her solo violin career, Rachel has been involved with historically-informed performances of early music for over two decades and is an avid performer of baroque, renaissance and medieval music on baroque violin, viola d’amore, renaissance violin, and rebec.
