    The Baltimore Waltz

**Audience members are advised that this show is for mature audiences only.**

The Baltimore Waltz is Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel's tragical-farcical love letter to her brother, Carl, who died of AIDS in 1988. It is a breathless, bawdy, and dreamlike tour through a Europe that exists only in the imagination of old Hollywood. Anna has contracted a dread illness - Acquired Toilet Disease, or ATD - and her brother Carl whisks her through Europe to find an experimental cure. Only after countless sexual adventures and film-noir-style intrigue with the mysterious Third Man do we discover the truth. At turns hilarious and dark, The Baltimore Waltz is sure to sweep audiences off their feet.

Theatre@First is also proud to be giving back to the community. Throughout the run of The Baltimore Waltz, the company will be taking donations for the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, a local organization working hard to educate the public about AIDS and HIV and to stop these diseases from spreading.
