    Art Institute of Boston 18th MFA Visual Arts Program Graduate Exhibitions

    Join 15 members of the 18th graduating MFA class in Visual Arts at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University at two exhibitions of their final graduate work.

    The upcoming exhibitions will feature work in a wide variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, installation, video, performance, and participatory art from the following artists: Julie R. Amrany, Karen Assel, Sarah Barr, Kathline Carr, Nicole Daviau, Olivia Janna Genereaux, Linda S. Fitz Gibbon, Lydia Gravis, Aaron Lish, Rita Maas, Molly Painter, Jason Pramas, Jessica Putnam-Phillips, Michelle Saffran, and Mary Zompetti.

    AIB’s MFA in Visual Arts Program is part of the growing wave of low-residency graduate level arts programs nationwide. Students live and work at home in various parts of the country - and around the world - from Vermont to Oregon to Italy and beyond. The time spent in their home communities helps to shape their creative processes.

    There will be opening receptions at AIB’s University Hall Gallery at 1815 Mass. Ave. in Cambridge on Friday, June 28th from 8 – 9:30 p.m., and at the AIB Main Gallery in Boston on Saturday, June 29th, from 8 – 10 p.m.
