Performance Techniques Workshop with Sean P. Rogan
July 28, 2013
Whatever your instrument or style, this workshop will focus on how to perform at your best – whether that’s at campfires, coffee shops, the Middle East or the Comcast center, remaining relaxed, focused and knowing what to do (and what not to do) will help you perform at your best. Learning to play an instrument takes time, practice, dedication, trial and error, creativity, routine, hard work, patience...and having a teacher definitely helps. The same goes for performing. Workshop pre-requisites: Please be able to perform at least one entire piece of music from start to finish; all styles, instruments, and voice, are welcome!
Sean P. Rogan has played well over 1000 concerts with bands like Big D and the Kids Table and Power of Love, and as a solo artist with 25+ years of experience. He was a professional skydiver with about 1000 skydives and owns and operates his own music school in Rhode Island. He holds a degree in Music Education from Berklee College of Music.
