    Celtic Crosses at Mount Auburn

    A Celtic Cross is a symbol that combines a cross with a ring surrounding the intersection. Although its history can be traced back to the late Iron Age, in the mid-19th century there was a Celtic Revival and new versions of Celtic crosses were designed for fashionable cemetery monuments.
